I saw this lovely photo from Joanna at A Cup of Jo a few days ago and it really got me thinking about First Looks.
In my humble opinion, one of the sweetest, and most emotional moments of the wedding day is when the bride and groom see each other for the first time.
Increasingly couples are opting to have their Firs Look before the actual ceremony, which means a special sneak peek just for the two of them! As a photographer, I love the idea of First Looks. The moment that you see your soon-to-be wife/husband for the first time on your wedding day is so intimate and romantic, filled with emotions. A little bit of tears, a lot of kisses. There's no need to hold back, just you and your love.
I think it is an amazing experience to share privately, with just the two of you - and your photographer of course! To capture those heartfelt moments. And when you walk down that aisle, there will still be anticipation but there will be an extra twinkle in both of your eyes as well because of what you just shared.
So brides and brides-to-be, pretty please consider this lovley idea!
Jessica & Derek said their "I Do's" on a sunny afternoon in June, surrounded by loved ones at the Waterfront Banquet Centre in Hamilton.
I truly enjoyed being a part of their day, and loved being able to witness the love they have for each other, and for their friends and family.
Jessica walked down the isle in a beautiful mermaid gown with lace overlays and gorgeous blue Manolo Blahniks.
Congratulations Jessica and Derek! I loved seeing how happy the two of you are together, that's what I love about being a photographer :)
Big thanks to Melissa of Moments by Melissa for letting me tag along as a second photographer!
Happy Birthday Mom!
Hope you enjoy the Kobo ereader I got you.
