Once upon a time...

"Once upon a time there was a boy who loved a girl, and her laughter was a question he wanted to spend his whole life answering. " - The History of Love, by Nicole Krauss.

These two love birds' expressions in this photo reminds me of this quote.

Wedding Photography Workshop with Tara McMullen Part 2

Attending the Wedding & Event Photography Workshop with Tara McMullen and Pikto studio is probably one of the best things I've done since I decided to start my own business. Tara is a talented and awesome photographer based in Toronto. Over the 2 days, she shared with us tips for breaking into the industry, photographic techniques, tips for running your own business and valuable resources. Tara even shared with us a couple of her secret shooting locations! ;)

For day 2, we had the pleasure of photographing the lovely and stunning Sabrina, and her handsome and ever-so-patient husband, Michael. Thanks guys!

Enjoy! xoxo

Wedding Photography Workshop with Tara McMullen Part 1

Yesterday I attended part 1 of a 2-day workshop on wedding photography with the amazing Toronto-based photographer Tara McMullen, offered in conjunction with Pikto Studio in the historic Distillery District.

I learned a lot of tips and tricks from Tara, not just on photography, but on the business side of wedding photography as well. Tara is so helpful, nice and has a great sense of humour. What's even more, she is so open to sharing her experience, her knowledge and her resources. I feel like I have came away with so much after just 2 days. Thank you Tara!

For day 1, we had the pleasure of photographing the lovely Dani and Bianca. Check out some photos below!
